• Focus on Pollution Prevention, produced by Alberta Environment, describes the basics of pollution prevention planning.
   
• Alberta Environment developed a framework to guide its P2 activities. This framework reflects input received from the CASA P2/CI Project Team. (Approach to Pollution Prevention Initiatives in Alberta Environment, June 2002)
   
• Alberta Environment is building on the pollution prevention and voluntary actions
  (i.e. Pollution Prevention and Control - Industrial Initiatives in Northern Alberta) that are successful in the province. Such actions have the potential to deliver significant improvements beyond what can be achieved through a traditional command and control approach to pollution.
   
  The Alberta Environment Pollution Prevention Program Development - Background Document provides background information that will be useful to Alberta Environment as it moves towards a pollution prevention program.
   
• The Clean Air Strategic Alliance Pollution Prevention/Continuous improvement Framework was developed to identify and recommend P2/CI strategies that could be used to reduce pollution at its source.
