Extended Producer Responsibility Workshop

On March 8-10 2006, Alberta Environment and Environment Canada co-hosted Canada's 4th National Workshop on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), as part of a continuing effort to promote and improve EPR programs throughout the country. The workshop forum provided an opportunity for stakeholders from industry, government, non-government and stewardship organizations to share challenges and exchange ideas on EPR program design and implementation. More than 130 delegates from across Canada and around the world converged in Calgary to participate in the workshop.
