Waste generators, whether municipalities, industry or individuals, have a responsibility to ensure that the wastes they produce are disposed of safely and in a manner that complies with current regulatory requirements. A variety of waste management facilities are available to assist in proper waste management. They include waste transfer stations, recycling facilities, composting facilities and landfills.
