Case Histories
Many examples already exist of projects that have employed progressive waste
reduction, reuse, and recycling strategies to divert CRD waste from
landfill. The case histories listed below provide information on measures
that have been taken to reduce CRD waste on a variety of residential, commercial
and institutional projects in Canada and the US. Actual reductions in the
amount of waste being sent to landfill, extra costs incurred, and savings
realized with these efforts are presented for many of these case histories, so
that others may benefit from this experience.
