Water Diverted by Irrigation Districts for Irrigation: More about the date

Water use data is collected and submitted to Alberta Environment reporting the amount of water that is diverted and returned by the Irrigation Districts. Alberta Environment administers licensed water allocations. Alberta Agriculture, Food and Rural Development also collects data with respect to amount of area irrigated and the types of crops that are grown.
