Groundwater Well Density: More about the data

The data used to produce this indicator came from Alberta Environment's Groundwater Information System and Statistics Canada. It includes some wells that have been abandoned, which will inflate some of the estimates. Work on the new groundwater wells database will improve the accuracy of these data.
