In 2007 there were five exceedances of the one-hour objective for ozone. These exceedances occurred in Fort McMurray-Athabasca Valley (1), Edmonton Central (1), Edmonton South (1) and Breton (west-central Alberta) (2). There were no one-hour exceedances at the following stations since 1990: Calgary Central, Calgary East, Fort McMurray-Patricia McInnes, Fort Chipewyan, Syncrude, Beaverlodge, Grande Prairie, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat.
