Map of monitoring stations
In general, all stations reported "good" air quality at least 94 per cent of the time in 2007. "Fair" air quality was measured 1 to 6 per cent of the time, and "poor" and "very poor" events occurred less than 1 per cent of the time.
The following smaller urban stations measured “good” air quality less often than other areas in the province in 2007: Cold Lake, Medicine Hat and Lethbridge. The Tomahawk and Genesee stations (located in rural West Central Alberta) also measured “good” air quality less often than other stations.
