An extensive monitoring network in Alberta supplies data for the Air Quality index. This network of stations is still expanding. The current Alberta Air Quality Index, calculated every hour, is available 24 hours a day on the Alberta Environment's Air Quality Index Website or by dialing (toll-free) 1-877-247-7333.

Historical Alberta Air Quality Index data may be obtained from the Clean Air Strategic Alliance (CASA) Data Warehouse.
